Module 6 - Fractions and decimal numbers

This is a slightly unusual module for you but it can be very helpful if you want to compare things mathematically accurately.

Fractions

${\frac {1}{2}}$ : The house is only half the size of the church.

${\frac {3}{4}}$ : Three quarters of the area is garden.

${\frac {5}{8}}$ : Five eighths of the house are already renovated.

{\frac {2}{3}}

: Two thirds of the children understand this.

Decimal numbers

$\cdot 0,3$ : The apple is only 0.3 times the size of a pineapple.

$\cdot 2$ : The playground is twice as long as the village square.

Percentages

30 % -> 30 per cent of children have a lunch box.
